Chili con carne

Chili con carne
-de Arturo Rodriguez

Ingredients:

1 pound of cooked ground meat
3 cups of homemade beans

1/4 jar of chili powder

Salt and pepper to your own taste

3 tsp of flour

Cooking oil


Prepare:

-heat some oil in a skillet
-brown the chili and flour in the oil
- keep mixing so it wont stick or burn

-Add meat, beans, salt, pepper, and 1 to 1 ½ cups of water
(depending on preferred consistency but it can’t be too thick or too soupy)

-Let it boil a bit and it’s ready

Combine the above Chili con Carne with Frito Lays corn chips.
You can top it off with grated cheese and even lettuce, onions and sour cream.
This can be done in individual bags of corn chips or in a casserole. This dish is also called Mexican Gumbo.
